Hi all!
We are quickly approaching Christmas! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone!

I want to remind you all that this time of year is about our Savior - it is not about gifts. That being said, make sure that when you buy gifts - they are not counter-productive to your faith. Many parents go against what they think is "right" in order to please their kids...

I just finished reading Job. If you want to read about a man who had it all, then lost it all and was answered by God...read this!

Gifts?

Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? I did. I went to my wife's grnadmothers and then to my sisters the next day! We all had a nice time seeing (and just being) with all of our family.

All month we have been talking about being unique - that the more we learn about others, the more we can know about ourselves.

God gave each of us special skills and talents before we were even born, and then when we were "born again" He gave us our spiritual gifts! WOW! Find out what that gift(s) is and give it away! It does you no good to hold onto it! Is it mercy? Is it administration? What is it??? You need to figure it out with the help of others and use it!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I am so thankful first off that I Serve a God that loves me. I dont always understand His ways or His plans - but I do know that He wants the best for me.

Today - I am thankful for my family and for those that GOd has allowed me to serve (especially Him).

TRYING AGAIN

Ugh - I am horrible at posting blogs - though I really do want to get better. My health is getting better so I am praising God for that!
Our children's team just did an amazing job with the Heroes Unmasked Harvest Party! I am so proud to be a part of this team!
Keep your family as a priority! Love your kids! Every child deserves to be loved by at least one person!!!
